Robert Lawrence Price II is a German-American artist and photographer who lives and works near Berlin, Germany. His photographic work often approaches objects through still life and macro perspectives, examining them at a scale and level of detail that shifts how they are perceived.

Before focusing on visual art, Price spent many years working as a professional musician. During that time photography served mainly as a practical tool for creating album covers and promotional material, gradually evolving into his primary form of artistic expression.

He is also a member of the Berlin-based collective phase7 performing.arts, where he works as an art worker within the infrastructure of production, building props and stage environments for performance.

Across disciplines, Price sees photography, music, writing and stage work as different forms of image-making. Whether through light, sound, language or space, his work is driven by curiosity about the act of making itself — repeating a creative gesture and following it forward to see where it leads.
